How Does Plasma Pen Work?
Plasma Pen is the world’s most advanced, non-invasive, skin lifting, skin tightening and rejuvenation device used to treat wrinkles, and sagging, dull skin. The Plasma Pen is an FDA approved, CE approved device used to perform fibroblast therapy, a technique for stimulating production of collagen in the skin. While most skin tightening and rejuvenation devices use needling, radiofrequency energy or lasers, the Plasma Pen utilizes electrostatic energy delivered through a small tipped applicator. These energy impulses discharge precise flashes of nitrogen plasma energy in milisecond bursts, triggering the body’s natural healing and anti-aging processes (fibroblast production) in the epidermal and dermal layers. What is unique about Plasma Pen vs. other fibroblasting devices?
Other fibroblasting devices may be referred to as “plasma pen” but are not the authentic trademarked device. Competitor’s devices can be purchased from China for as little as $10 and are not true plasma technology. At best, they are designed for personal skin tag and mole removal. These pens are not suitable for professional use and can be dangerous, causing serious burns to the skin .
Many technicians performing fibroblasting services are not professionally trained nor do they have medical knowledge of the skin.
There are many contraindications for fibroblasting including but not limited to certain medical conditions, medications and skin types. Also, it is important to mention there are very specific techniques used to obtain the best results that are only obtained during a Plasma Pen training by the technician. I am certified in the advanced techniques.
Expected Results and Follow-up
Plasma Pen results are virtually immediate and last about two to three years. For a few days following your treatment, you will experience some skin flaking, as Plasma Pen triggers skin cell turnover. This peeling is part of the process: it helps reveal fresh, youthful skin.
For the next several weeks and even months, collagen production gradually increases. This improves youthful plumpness, giving your skin the support structure it needs to lift and tighten.
